As a newly single mother in a new state, I found that one of the first things I had to take care of was finding quality daycare. The childcare norwalk CT offers is pretty diverse. Once you have a short list of the day care centers that are a good fit for you geographically, and which on the surface seem like a good place, then you want to consult other parents. If you are new in town then the easiest way to go about this is by reading reviews on the internet. One thing I will suggest is not limiting yourself to one review site. View both professional and informal reviews to get a less biased picture of the day care that you are considering.
3. Visit the child care center.
Hopefully at this point you have whittled down your list a little. Make calls to anyone still on the list and see if you can drop in to just have a look at the place with your little one. If you are not allowed to visit then do a quick drive by. I will not tell you what to look for here, only that you should trust your gut instincts. Your first impressions of a place will tell you everything you need to know.
Daycare is an incredibly important part of the growing and learning path that your kids are going to be on from today until they are done with college. Or at least we hope. A good day care center can set your kids up for success, so choose wisely.
4. Do not get too attached.
